Hi,

I have followed the threads about the PE2.0 labeling
issue (unable to label a hex-entered IR code) and the
subsequent emulator crash problem. If I understand
correctly, the suggestion circumvention was to use
PE1.05 to label the code. HOWEVER, it was mentioned
that this will lose database code, as PE1.05 has no
notion of those.

Unfortunately, I need both: some my devices are based
on the DB, while others I need to paste IR codes to.
Is there any solution? Or am I at a dead end with this?

(problem recap: PE2.0 has a bug in labeling an IR code
once hex string is typed in. This leaves the code
unlabeled; it works on the actual device, but crashes
the emulator, which is extremely invonvenient).

Thanks for any input!

Use 1.05 to create a CCF with just one panel with the buttons you want. Load the discrete codes and give the codes meaningful names.

Then open up V2 and merge in this CCF and move the buttons to wherever you want them.
