Anyone else notice that the discretes for Panasonic DVD players don't work for the RV-80? They do work .. but they basic lock up the machine. I know I could work around it with a "play. stop. toggle" thing.. but that's a pain.
Someone else must have found this... any way to get the new codes from Panasonic?

Jason, I have the same problem with my DVD-RV30 and someone posted the problem with the RV20. I found the problem to be with the off command. The on command seems to be ok, so I've been turning mine on with that one and shutting it off with the Power command on a separate button and not including it in my "all off" macro. For now this is the best I could come up with. I believe all the RV series shut off on there own after 30 minutes in stop so it no big deal if you forget to shut it off.

I don't know of "on" works or not, but I can say for sure he's right - i tried just using "off" and that messes it up. I guess with "on" you could do "on" + toggle for off, which is at least one step shorter than play, stop, toggle.
Not perfect, I know.
