I'm looking for discrete codes for Dish Network 6000 HDTV Sat Receiver. Need SD selection, HD selection or an "anchor" to build a macro to go to High Def output for sure everytime. Also discrete on, discrete off. Anyone had any luck??? (who designs these things without such an important control not on the remote control???.... also why not output SD and HD at the same time anyway?.... probably cost 28 cents to add it in the factory)

Thanks

I'm gonna need this too. I was thinking about creating a macro that would step through (by number) the System/Installation/etc. menus... Would that work?

I need this also. I just spent an hour on the phone with Dish Network and they say there is no need for this feature, and they also said I was the only person that has ever called up looking for this. Obviously not. I know that is BS because every good programmer wants it. Michael you can use a macro to do what you want with changing from standard def to high def, just make it go slow. If you try and make it go fast it will not be reliable.
