I recently purchased a new TSU2000 and have had some fun and success in programming the unit. However, when compared with older Pronto and Marantz models, the screen on my new TSU2000 is a little fuzzy with less defined edges and the LCD "buttons" do not always obey my commands. The buttons work fine with a sylus but there is no way to conveniently store a stylus with the remote. I tried re-calibrating the unit and it did not help at all. I compared my unit with other new ones at the store and am convinced there is nothing unique about my Pronto. Since I have a 30 day return policy, I might take back the unit as having to tap 2-3 times to get past several screens gets annoying. With a stylus it works 100% of the time but that is not how I want to use the unit. Comments? Smith from Newport Beach, CA

Smith -
I have a TSU2000 & have found that using the back off a fingernail works consistently when selecting a button on the LCD screen. And the bonus is you don't have to clean the screen nearly so often - no greasy fingerprints!! Pardon me while I eat my fried chicken.... :o)

My original TS-1000 has never worked well with a soft finger... much better results using the tip of my fingernail, as Tom describes.
