I have looked all over the FAQ, and message boards(and there is alot of them) but how do I get my pronto to quite turning off my tv every time I go to it from the home menu, or the devise menu. I read where I can hold down the left of right button, but there has to be away to program it so I can just push one button.

if you use ProntoEdit
Home panel 1) push the plus beside HOME 2) dblclk the panel (it is probably named home or something like that) 3) dblclk the button for the TV 4) delete the command that turns on your TV
Device menu 1) click the plus beside device 2) click the plus beside TV 3) dblclk properties 4) delete the command from the action list that turns on the TV

Chris -
Don't give up!
When I first got my TSU2000, I couldn't delete this device action either directly on the Pronto using the instructions in the manual. The problem is that there is a toggle IR code for the TV's power associated with that device. By "toggle code", I mean that if the TV is on, the code turns it off, and if it is off, the code turns it on (just like on your original manufacturer's remote). If you use ProntoEdit, you can go to the Properties screen for your TV and delete this code on the "Action" tab. Or, if you can find a discrete code for your TV on the files section on this site, you can change the toggle code to a discrete "on" code so that if the TV is off, the code will turn it on, but if it already on, it will not turn it off.
I ended up coding a configuration for my Pronto from scratch using ProntoEdit - that's how I got rid of this device code. I didn't like the default configuration at all.
Hope this helps.

thanks guys, I got it, now on to Macros, from what I am reading I just go throught the steps I want it to go through, but i keep on getting beeps(not good ones), I am sure if I stick with it I might figure it out, this thread is great(except for the ones that always say "read through the messages", with 10k+ I can see why people get mad. Documintation really sucks on this thing.
