In Prontoedit 2.0, trying to change font colors on active and inactive selected buttons, but can't do. When in "button properties", the "apply" button is greyed out. Have added "developer=1". Any ideas??

You have to put some text on the button first. Give it a Name under the properties tab.

Peter,

Button(s) already have text. Tried changing text, deleting it and adding new, etc. But the "apply" button never becomes active. Have Prontoedit 2.0 on two computers, but both behave the same. Could it be a software problem? Are others experiencing this?

Is your text set to a font size or set to none?

I found the Apply button became active as soon as I gave the button a name.

Don't worry about the "APPLY" button -- just use the "OK" button. It seems as if changing colors is not enough for ProntoEdit to activate "apply". Basically it's a bug.

Still NG. Can change font size, but not color or background colors (active or inactive). Buttons have names, even tried adding a new button from the gallery and assigning a name. Still can't change font or button colors. "Apply" button still not active, and hitting "OK" does nothing but return me to the panel. Any other ideas??

After rereading your message, you said you tried changing the active and inactive selected buttons. Have you tried changing the active and inactive UNselected button properties? If you just tried the selected colors, you won't see anything on the panel in ProntoEdit, but you should see the change in the emulator when you press (activate) the button.

Bob, as Daniel says, the Apply button remains greyed out when you change the colors. If you change the name, the Apply button becomes active. Obviously a minor bug.

When you change the colors, the "What you See is What You Get" panel changes. Hitting OK saves those changes.

Also, if the button has an icon, then the background color is meaningless.
