I'm getting the sense from searches and the lack of anything here that there aren't discrete codes for the Hughes Platinum DSS box.

That stinks. If that's true, are there any work arounds?

Sandro,
I have the Hughes Gold and there seem to be no discretes and I haven't come across any work-arounds either. Oh well.

Bill

what about x-10 stuff? could that work on this? i was thinking maybe of doing it for lights, so this might push me over the edge to do it.

120 Turbo Tune 2
121 Turbo Tune 3
122 Turbo Tune 4
123 Turbo Tune 5
124 Turbo Tune 6
125 Turbo Tune 7
126 Turbo Tune 8
127 Turbo Tune 9

NEC Protocol, Device 0C FB, 38 kHz

Has any on tried with x-10 on this? i'll spring for it if it would work, since i'm not a big fan of leaving it on.

Have you tried the Pronto 2.0 codes? There is a discrete code listed for the Hughes DBS in the database?
Power OFF
8000 0000 0002 0000 0005 02ed 0001 0000
Power ON
8000 0000 0002 0000 0005 02ed 0002 0000
Let me know if this works.
