The ones under files here are not working. Specifically I am trying to get the discretes which will toggle me directly to a specified input.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thx in advance

How old is the 50707? If it's relatively new the discreets should absolutely work... if old, check out:

The TV was delivered on Saturday, brand new. I am confused because they are not working. I am using discretes on my Sony receiver with no problems, and the power discretes for the TV work fine so I know I'm doing things right.
I'll try it again.
Thx for everything

This worked on my WS65807, I got info from another similar request.

Here's how to make your Mitsu TV remote throw the discreet IR's for teaching your Pronto....

1.Set the Layer Switch at the top of the Mitsubishi Remote to TV.

2.Press and hold the POWER button, and while holding the power button enter 090.

3.Now the remote should function like this:

Power = Power On Discreet
Stop = Power Off Discreet
Pause = AV Reset

Pressing INPUT followed by:
PIP = DTV
1 = Input 1
2 = Input 2
3 = Input 3
4 = Input 4
5 = DVD / Component 1
6 = Component 2
SQV = Input STB
QV = Input VGA
PIP CH Up = Antenna A
PIP CH Down = Antenna B

4.When done, press and hold the POWER button and enter code 000 to return to the standard remote functions

I'm sorry to be a pain in the !!! When I do the 090 thing the remote is doing some weird things but the # buttons are not doing what you mention. If I press them without the input button they do nothing, after the input button they change the channel. I have to do the 000 thing to make the remote work again. Any idea where I can get more info on this "hidden" portion of the remote??
Thank you very much!!!

I have a Mit HD Wide screen (model excapes me at the moment). I found the discrete codes on this site. Try these:

[Link: remotecentral.com]

Also, I have managed to use someone elses hard work from one of there posted ccf's. Mine works great for all inputs. If you want me to send you what I use for the TV, let me know. I also have Mit MVR900 receiver, DD-6000 (the progressive scan model from last year), and the HSU-795 VCR. I have just about got all codes as well as any discrete done. If any of that could help you feel free to ask.

I will upload what I have after I finish tweaking it.

Good luck.

did this issue ever get solved? i have the same problem. it did not act as i expected. do you have to point the remote towards the TV while pushing the 090 or is it just putting the remote in a different mode? (just thinking that the TV might have something to do with it.)

If you disable an input, the discrete code is ignored for that input. Have you disabled any inputs?

Well, after some time toiling over this problem (I too own the Mits 50707). I came up with a solution that seems to work quite well. The 50707 accepts the mits discrete code for input 2. Knowing that, it can be used as a starting point. I programmed the pronto to switch to input 2 then had it send the regular input up button 2 times and I was at component in! I used input 2 because input 3 wasnt working for me. With this combo it works every time. To make it more reliable I also spaced the TV commands apart in the macro I used. I did TV on, then receiver on then TV to input 2 then receiver to dvd input then dvd on then input one time, .2 sec delay then input again.

Hope this helps!

email Mits tech support. If the codes exist they will give them to you, they did for my WS55805
