I went to the Hi-FI 99 show Friday but had to be in St Louis Sat. Somebody tell how was the prontofest?
I did see the Pronto display in the Phillips booth along with the Pronto mousepad they were giving away at Prontofest.
Had a chance to talk with the Phillips Rep who said he is charge of the advertising. I asked why with such a great product they aren't doing more advertising. He said their budget is limited and they are waiting for the optimum time to advertise. Said spring is not the optimum time.
I told him I loved the product and wondered what is coming next. He said there is a new software version coming but WOULD NOT comment on the timing. Also got the impression there is a new hardware version in the works with more functionality. Again, he would not comment on whether that means more buttons or what.
