Hi Rob,

I'm hoping you can help me as well... I'm having the same issues with my remote. I am unable to use the select/ok and guide buttons. I have Time Warner, a Philips tv (I set it up using quick remote setup instructions so I am unsure of the code), and a Scientific Atlanta (atlas??) box. I would really appreciate any suggestions/advice/help you can offer.

Thanks for your time,
Erica

Find your code with the Lookup Tool, then click EFCs to get the codes for select/ok and guide. Finally enter the EFCs (aka advanced codes) using "key mover" per the programming instructions on the JP1 Wiki. If you don't know your setup code, use the "blink back" procedure from the Wiki.

If you post your remote model and tv model, we can help you find the correct codes.

As explained in post #62, you can get this from the Lookup Tool. OK/Select is 24885.

Hi I am hoping someone can help me find the right code for the Ok/Select button. My remote is a Charter 1060BC3 remote. It is made by URC but I don't know the URC model number. Charter seems to refer to it as a C4000 in the instructions. The main control codes I use are:

Phillips TV: 11454
Samsung DVD/Blu Ray: 20199

I understand the Setup > 994 keymoving or remapping procedure, I just can't find the right codes. I have searched for hours and revisited this issue every few months over the past couple years until I get fed up and give up and to this end have no joy yet. I have managed to unlock the OK/Select button from the cable device but cannot find the code for the button to work with the tv or dvd. I would really appreciate any help from the guru's! TIA!!!

Edit: Never mind, I found the codes. The DVD (a Samsung BDJM51) key code for ok/select was 00211 and the TV (a Phillips) used the key code 00007 for ok/select
