I have a Technics SA-AX730 receiver with code 1308 (URC 8811). I transferred the direct tune button via learning, but cannot tune since the numbers correspond to inputs. Is there any way to change the numbers to act as numbers for radio tuning?
Also, are there any advanced codes that work with Technics receivers (I've tried 0039, 0308, 0309, and 0518 but my receiver won't respond. These are the only codes that have advanced codes as far as I know).

-Thanks
Doug

RCVR/1308 is a combo code, so therefore it doesn't support advanced codes. Either 0308 or 0309 would have been the right codes to use, as these do support advanced codes, but they are not present in the URC-8811.

So, you have two options:

1) The non-JP1 answer is to learn the numeric buttons from your original remote, however, the URC-8811 has a memory capacity of about 24 buttons total.

2) If you get yourself a JP1 cable, you can add a new code that has the numeric functions programmed to the numeric buttons.

Thanks for the help, I went with the non-JP1 option and it works great.
