Hello, sorry for my english, im french
I have just bought NEVO SSL via ebay custom.
The problem is that software NEVOSTUDIO does not function under Vista, I did not find on the site of Mynevo a maj. I know which exist but I do not have unfortunately a customer support of a possible distibutor considering I bought it via Ebay.
I contacted the customer support of nevo and it to me one answered that I was to leave messages on various forums which treats this Nevo, for possibly having the patch for Vista.

Thank you for your assistance
Cordially

Check out this thread, you might need to go towards the end. Long story short, there is a new Vista compatable version you need to download from the Nevo site.

UEI are protecting their dealer base.

Purchasing on eBay is not supported. (see their website).

Concessions can be made for nice people that have been hard done by a dealer or possibly have a used product that is missing software.

Also, you need to remember that the SL has been discontinued for nearly 3 years. There is nothing new about it.

Try contacting a local dealer to see if they can help you out.

I don't know how you are trying to contact Nevo but I have always had a good experience getting help when required.

Oh well, no worries. I will get it eventually. But if you knew the whole story you might understand. I bought this from an Authorized dealer in person.......new three years ago. Used it over a year. Then relocated three states away. (No dealers here in Wichita, Kansas.) Bought three new computers for the new house and then tried to load original sofware on new Vista machines. Obviously didn't work. Called the dealer I bought it from in Dallas, Tx. and wouldn't you know..........out of buisness. Contacted UEI about it and they never responded back and its been two month this has been going on. I would be frustrated with UEI if I bought this off ebay as alot of people do on here as I have seen in the posts.....but I did it the way UEI wants it done and still feel like I have gotten the cold shoulder. Anyway.............I don't normally talk crap about anyone unless its justified. Just thought this may help you understand my position. Anyway, thanks for your posts they have given a good laugh!

getting help from a dealer would have been a great option..........but my Dealer went out of buisness. I have recently moved to the middle of the US. Corn/wheat fields everywhere...........not much use for high end remotes here. No big deal, I'll get this all worked out in time. Just trying to get this remote to work with the computers I have. I don't want to keep an XP machine just so I can program a remote.
