Have had this ole trusted SL for years and now have a need to update the programming. After I found an old computer still running XP, I loaded the latest version of NevoStudio (597) and connected the SL. The Microsoft ActiveSync connected with the SL and after multiple attempts I was able to upload its current program from the SL onto the computer. Before I went through all the time to do the reprogramming and with the intermittent problem of succeeding on the upload; I then attempted to download the same project. I clicked on the "download project" and it went through the "Preparing project file for download" and then began the actual download. The SL screen showed the download starting and then anywhere from 1% to 3% completion the SL screen displayed "Connection Interupted". I would touch the "OK" button on the SL screen and it looked like the unit went back to downloading for a few seconds and then went to the original screen that was on prior to the download. The NevoStudio still showed the same % that it stopped at for about another 30 seconds to a minute at which time the ActiveSync dropped connection triggering an error message of download failure with NevoStudio. I did change the power settings on the SL to never turn off whether on battery or not.
Any ideas? Thanks

Ok, I'm giving an update to my initial SL - PC connection problem. I think the problem is that the computer I'm using, an much older puter running XP but more importantly, this thing still only has the USB 1.1 ports. I hope to be able to verify my theory in a couple days by either finding another computer still running XP with USB 2.0 or 3.0 ports or finding a USB 2.0 board to replace the USB 1.1 board I have in mine. Has anyone else been able to get the NevoStudio to download/upload projects using a USB 1.1?

Confirmed. The problem was the USB 1.1. I switched it out for a USB 2.0 PCI board and it works like a charm. So, if you looking for an old computer still running XP to run you NevoStudio, be sure it has a USB 2.0 or 3.0 port; not a 1.1.
