I have a Q50 and now a S70. I have a 2 NC-50 boxes and one Nevolink box. I'd like to buy a ZWAVE lamp switch and control it thru the S70 (to get my feet wet programming for ZWAVE).

In NevloStudio Pro v3. I see how you add homelighting. But, how does Nevo know what device to send the ZWAVE on/off command to? I'm having trouble understanding how the Nevo remote knows which ZWAVE device to send the on/off command to. Unlike IR were you specify devices and unique IR codes for that device, how does Nevo know which device to send the ZWAVE on/off command and dimmer instructions to.

I'd really appreciate a explanation. MUCH THANKS!

If I recall, it is handled during the initial zwave synching. Every Zwave device has a IP address of sorts and it is automatically detected and added once the new config is downloaded to the remote. I have done a few of these and thats about all I remember at this moment.
