Hello everybody,
I'm sorry for silly question but haven't found answer so far. I understand one can programme the remote (Q50 or S70) to performer various tricks, combos etc., controlling IR devices (AVR, TV). But if I want to control my HTPC and I don't want to do it via IR, how does it work? I understood that S70 has full wifi support (unlike the Q50), but how does it work? Is there a program/service running on HTPC? Thanks anybody for answer(s).

you can use a program called Eventghost on the PC. you can send it serial commands via the Nevoconnect to trigger all sorts of actions on the PC. www.eventhost.org

if you want to use serial commands yes. you may be able to send IP commands with the S70, but I don't have any experience with that. I have controlled many PCs using a Q50, a nevoconnect, and Eventghost.
