The battery is replaceable yourself but is a right bugger to do & usually results in the plastic clips breaking if you don't do it in the right order

The retaining screws are located under the rubber feet on the bottom & then you have to flip the unit over & try to unclip the top plate from the back cover.

9 times out of 10 though it is usually the metal contacts on the remote or cradle that cause charging issues, if you clean these with a bit of alcohol & also make sure the pins on the cradle are sitting proud you might find it will solve the issue of it not fully charging

I have the same problem. I cracked open the remote and it looks like the replacement battery is a US503759 A8H. Luckily the battery is commonly used in cell phones and can be ordered online for $21.00.

The problem is that it has a small circuit board with plug soldered to the tabs. That is a bit above my DYI and I may need to pay someone to attach the board to the new battery. Once that is done, it should be plug and play.

Be very careful here with Lithium-ion batteries and compatibility, ala the circuit board. These batteries can be very volitile (read:explode) in the charging cycle if that board is not specd properly.

I think Nevo is still doing battery replacements in the US for a small fee.
