Is there any widget or setup to control Windows mediacenter via IP or serial. I have been searching and can't really find anything. I have the S70 with Nevo connect and trying to control mediacenter any help would be appreciated.

In the online database there are media center IR codes.

These work great.

Apart from that you will need to create your own widget.

I have not seen any documentation showing the commands for MCE.
Although I have never really looked.

I did see somewhere that you can run another program on your MCE PC that will convert your rs232 command to a MCE command, but that was a long time ago.

I have a mediaCenter PC with Mymovies installed and a seperate Casatunes music server
I would like to browse my media content on the mediacenter PC from the remote screen and start playback of any movie from my remote. I see Vidabox have a similar setup with CQC and want to achive similar results but i dont have CQC.
Two i would like to browse my music on my casatunes music server and be able to start playback of any content and get status as the content play back from the remote screen. I see Casatunes have a pronto script at first i was thinking if ther was anyway i could of modify the Pronto scrip to work with the S70.
Those are my two objective right now.

Thanks.

If Casatunes is UPnP or DLNA complient then it will work straight ot of the box with the S70.

All you will need is a UPnP or DLNA player software on the MCE machine.

Twonky is a good starting point.

Thanks for the info well i dont believe my Casatunes server is UPnP nor DLA compliant so i don't think it will work. It does have an web user interface for control. I tried to acess it from my remote webrowser but it won't fit on the screen and i wouldn't be able to use the hard buttons. Do you know if it is even possible to make a pronto script work with the S70. I know Casatunes have a pronto script that has hard button control on the pronto remotes.
I do have Twonky on my windows home server which has all my stored movies and is accesed with My Movies on my Media Center PC but i dont understand how that is going help me to browse my movies and be able to play that specific title from my remote screen selection.

I can't seam to find a straight answer about casatunes, being UPnP online.

It is an easy test.

Open NSP
Go to settings
Enable WiFi
Go to Media zones.
add a media zone.

NSP will search your network for and compatible servers and players.
