So I just got my hands on a 6005.

What widgets would you like...

I am working on the following:
Volume Feedback
Tuner Feedback

and I am thinking about:
Current Input.

Is there anything else you could actually use, not just want.

I wonder if the widgets that I did for the SR5004 will work on the 6005.  Care to test them?

Hi,

So they work but they don't...

The new units show BOTH the old and new RS232 feedback. Unfortunately your RegEx does not cope with this and the reply is muddled up.

I have finished both the volume and tuner widgets and am in the process of testing them.

I will post something soon.

Well, they are finally tested and ready to go.

www.mediafire.com/file/b53lnjvxjoa9oxo/Marantz%20Widgets%20005%20and%20above.zip

1. AM/FM tuner feedback with presets.

2. Volume feedback with correct readout. I.E. The receivers display shows -14.5dB then that’s what the widget shows.

Please note that these will ONLY work for the 005 and above range as these units have different RS232 commands.

All feedback welcome.

I am adding the widget to my file, and I notice that your rs232 commands don't match what I currently have in my file.   I got mine from the marantz excel document on their website.

for instance, my Game input code looks like this:
@SRC:O

yours is:
SIGAME

my code works, I haven't tested yours.

are you working off a different protocol sheet?  here is the one I am using:

i meant to reply earlier.  i found that the protocol between the SR6005 and 5005 is different.  when I get time, I will re-write the widget to work with the SR5005 protocol.  As of now, his widget will not work with the 5005.

Hi,

Sorry I just noticed this...

The new amps actually support both the new and old RS-232 codes*.

*Some of the old code do not work so I made the wiget work with the new codes only.

I have two units here for testing. 1x5005 and 1x 6005.

From memory both worked with the widget.
I am out all day today but I should have time tomorrow to re-test if someone else has not tried it by then.

i must have been doing something wrong.  i didnt have alot of time to test.  i ended up spending too much time working out the bugs on the navigation equipment on the boat to play around with the widgets on the nevo :(

i have another 5005 at home for another boat that i hope to eventually have time to figure out.
