Guys,

I have made a classic error. I have two Q50 remotes up and running my home cinema and my main entertainment area for the last year or so. Very impressed and happy with them (except for the terrible battery life!).

Anyway, I recently got the option of an SL for the right money. It only came with the charging cradle and device itself. I presumed that I could program it with NevoStudioPro, but to my dismay, I have now learned that I cannot and that I need NevoStudio.

I know the score regarding getting access to the software on the Nevo site. Unfortunatley, my attempts to get the sofware from my local retailer / distributer were met with "oh, we dont do the SL anymore and therefore dont have software for it....But, could we interest you in the new S70 instead?!".

Naturally, I have also sent a mail to Nevo directly, but based on other peoples posts, I recon I shouldn't hold my breadth waiting for a response!

Anyway, all of the above is background so that people dont think I am a newby Nevo user and dont know what I am doing! In reality, I am hoping that someone will be kind enough to point me in the direction of a private download or ZIP up a copy of thier own CD and put it somewhere I can download it! It would be nice to retire the 3 standard remotes in the den this xmas and replace them with an SL!

Feel free to send me an RC Mail PM if you can help or post here instead!

Cheers,
Jab

if you have registered your copy of nevostudiopro, then you have access to the dealer section of the mynevo website and can download a copy of nevostudio yourself.

Exactly. Just log on and then go to the Support/Downloads section.

Guys,

I must be doing something pretty stupid here. I went to the following URL and tried to login:

[Link: mynevo.com]

I told me "Wrong username or password". So I clicked the link for forgot password and I then got a password reminder mail from [email protected]. I had the correct username and password...but none the less, I tried them again to confirm (Etc...etc..)....but it just keeps telling me that the username and password are incorrect.

Am I trying to login to the wrong area on the site? I am choosing the "Dealer Login" option as its the only one I can see!

Thanks again for the help!
Cheers,
Jab

PS - I also decided to go through the registration process again for my Q50, just in case. I choose the "already registered" option in StudioPro and put in the username and password above. It all worked fine. However, when I tried to login (per above), I still get the message about the wrong username and password.

:(

Thoughts?
Thanks,
Jab

There are times when their servers seem to shut everybody out, but I just logged on successfully. It's a PITA, but you could try re-registering with a different email.

I have seen this error unfortunately caused by some security software on your system which is interferring with the Nevo website. Possibly won't allow it or it is blocked or needs to be added to pass security, etc.

Try turning off or temporarily disabling excess security stuff and see if it works.

Woo Hoo!

You guys all rock! Thanks a million for the help.
There must have been something wrong with my original accout / username / email. It must have been corrupted or screwed up over the years.

As suggested, I re-registered using a different email addres and am now happily downloading NevoStudio!

Thanks a million everyone!
Happy holidays,

Jab

More than likely you had previously registered that same email address as a Consumer which would explain why you were unable to logon as a Dealer?
