I have a Q50 that was configured for a TV and Audio Tuner and DVD player. Not a big configuration. However, the client has an NC-50 now and wants the two connected together but I cannot seem to find out how to do that. I have gone over the documentation I have for the remote and the NC-50. All it tells me is to press the Add button. There is no Add button. The config that was done to the remote does not have one I can find programmed.
I have not done one like this before. I am sure there is a simple fix but it is just not coming to me so I thought I would search here. I did not find anything. Anyone know how to add the "Add" button to the Q50 so that I can add the NC-50 to it?

you need to add the nc50 to the nevo configuration through nevostudio pro.  plug the nc50 into the pc you are programming with via usb cable, then click on the add hardware button. you will probably be prompted to update the firmware. the mac address of the nc50 will be recorded into the program.  you then setup the i.r routing for the nc50, load the file back into the q50 remote, and when the remote reboots, it will ask you to create a zwave network.  should be pretty simple after that, just follow the directions on the remote.

I was sick and out for a while. I went to add the NC-50 and I think I may have missed something. I added the NC-50 to the Nevo Ecosystem. It asked me about the MAC and checked the Firmware as you noted it would. I left the IR information alone since it is already configured for the devices. I then saved the config. I disconnected the NC-50 and connected the Q50. Downloaded the new config to it and then "rebooted" it. No wizard came up. What did I miss? It never prompted me to configure the Z-Wave network.

Tap on the menu bar at the top of the screen, by default, it should bring up the set up menus. Go to the Nevo Ecosystem. You'll need to add the NC-50 as a Z-wave node. Once that's done, you should be set and it'll use the whatever configuration you programmed in with NevoStudio Pro.

Hi,

You said that you left the IR info alone!

NSP does not configure anything to the NC-50.
All you items will appear in the NC-50 config page but YOU need to click what port the codes come out from.

Also. If NSP did not enable the z-wave you may need to manually tick "enable z-wave" in the settings section of NSP (the two little gears near the d/l button)

Thank you for all your help. Yeah I left the IR alone and figured that out while there. LOL I hate it when something is simple but you forget one small step and cannot figure out why it is b0rked.

Thank you again for your help I really REALLY appreciate it!
