JUST RECENTLY GOT A PRONTO NEO.I DID NOT EXPIERENCE ANY PROBLEMS A LOT OF PEOPLE DID THOUGH. I CAN TELL YOU THIS MUCH... ITS NOT KID PROOF. SON DROPPED IT AND SHATTERED LCD. SO I GOT ANOTHER. I'VE IMPORTED SOME ICONS FOR TELEVISION STATIONS. I THOUGHT I KNEW HOW TO SET THE IR CODE, BUT WAS WRONG. FOR EXAMPLE... TO SET STATION 13 I WOULD CHOOSE DIGIT 1 AS 1,PUSH OK THEN, DIGIT 3 AS SECOND DIGIT THEN OK. SO THERE WOULD BE 2 IR CODES IN PROPERTY BOX FOR THAT ICON. BUT WHEN I PRESS THE ICON THE REMOTE CHANGED IT TO STATION 33INSTEAD OF 13. ALL ICONS I PROGRAMMED WERE LEARNED BY SECOND DIGIT EX. 24 IS 44, 15 IDS 55 ANY TIPS?

bulldog, sound like you didn't link to the channel buttons on your tv, but rather 'added ir code' to change your channels. try 'linking' to the buttons on the tv page that contains them and be sure to put a delay between the links.

I'm going crazy trying to program the the power button (the most important button) on my Sanyo PLV60 projector but with no sucess. All the other buttons will learn.
I have tried everthing. Radio Shack remotes, different angles, pressing the original remote first, different distances, standing on my head with my big toe curled, holding one eye shut during the first full moon of winter solstice. Still "failed" (that message and sound has gotten quite anoying).
I have extracted the learned codes from a ccf file for this projector, but I dont know what to do with them.
Whener I change/replace the xml file, neoedit can't open it.
I called the customer support line, but the idiot I talked to could barely read off the lame generic list that was sitting in front of him.
I would really appreciate any suggestions before I take this over priced gizmo straight to philips and personally shove it up the customer support guy's ...
Well lets just say I'm a tad frustrated

All I can say is I had tried and tried to learn the PIP for my Rca UTV and then I tried this:
I held down the PIP button on the remote before I pressed the button I wanted to learn it to on the Neo, and it worked. I also thought I'd never learn the "Disc" button on my Technics 5 cd changer. But after about 20 straight tries, it learned it.
I have had better luck learning IR codes using the Original remote then my Cinema7 or MX-1000. Well I don't know if this helps you any, keep tring....
