Ok,
I am not able to upload from my Neo using my home computer with Windows ME - I get the error listed above. All works fine at work with 2000 Pro, so it's not the hardware or the firmware in the Neo. Firmware is freshly updated and I am using the most recent version of NeoEdit. Any Ideas? Help!
Thanks,
Brian Hamilton

Did you ever solve this problem? My pc is doing the same thing with W2K. It worked fine at the office when I was playing.

Yes. Although I must admit that I am not sure what exactly did repair it. I managed to get it to work correctly after re-downloading the installation software in its entirety, and making sure that I had uninstalled every last bit of pronto stuff on my pc prior to doing the install.

Good Luck
Brian

I found that this error msg is caused by weak batteries. Changing them resolved the problem instantly.

I have nearly the same problem with RC3200. In the case upload i get Error0070 in SeggerModule. I'm using WIN ME and also WIN 2000. The Marantz support has no idea.

Well this is late to the game, but I solved this problem by loading the latest version of Java jre (Java run time enviorment). I tried new batteries, reloading all software and nothing worked. However, when I downloaded neohacker, I needed to install Java jre. That's all it took. Working very well now with Windows 8.

After all these years, this is still a great remote.
