I can't seem to get the MX-500 to learn commands from my Arcam remote. Any suggestions please?

Try this link:

Also, make sure your batteries are new, and of good quality i.e. Duracell, etc.

Not sure if the MX-500 learns toggle-bit codes, but Arcam does use toggle-bit codes.

The MX-500 does NOT learn toggle bit codes.

Does that mean I cannot use it to control the Arcam then?

You might be able to send the remote in to have the upgrade code added. Call URC.

What's the symptom when you try?

If the learned codes don't work at all, something else is wrong.

If the "toggle" aspect of the signal is causing a problem, the symptoms would be: The learned codes mostly work, but any specific function doesn't work twice in a row without using some other function in between.
