Does anyone have the discrete codes for the Yamaha DVD-S550 that they could email me. I am finally getting around to this and the yamaha page that I bookmarked a few months ago with the codes is not longer present and I can't seem to find them anywhere. Thanks, Ken

what codes are you looking for? I dont believe it unit has discrete on/off. USe play for on and play - power for off.

The IR codes have been moved to the YPAB website. Use the codes from the DVD-S520, they work better (tranport codes). The discrete ON/OFF from the extended file works perfect.

Unfortunately, I don't have access to the YPAB site. I'm not so concerned about the discrete on/off as some of the others (chapter skip, ff, etc). The Yamaha remote combines multiple functions into one key press (e.g. pressing >> to skip chapter, press and hold >> to FF). I have not been able to learn these functions sucessfully on my MX-500

How do you import the codes from the YPAB website into MX Editor?
Sir, my concern is not whether God is on our side; my greatest concern is to be on God's side, for God is always right.

You don't. Learn the codes into a learning remote or cut and paste them into a Pronto, then learn into the MX.

Sorry for the late reply...........One of those weeks since CEDIA.
