I have a MX-800 w/MRF-200.
Is it possible to lengthen a mini-blaster wire? Can I just cut it and solder another wire in?
If this is possible, would it work 40' long?

Thanks,
Bill

You can use Cat. 5 or similar. Use a match to burn off the thin coating of Teflon on the emitter wire before you solder it to another wire. 40' is pretty long, but the 250's output level is high. It should work but it depends on the sensitivity of the IR receiving eye on the other end.
