does anyone know how or if its possible to program a urc-200 to control 2 motorola dct-3412s independently so i dont have to block one box while use the other? dumb question?

Sorry but no. You need at least a mx-350 and a mrf250.

You could control one of the boxes with direct IR, and the other with the MRF; but the best thing would be to configure one of your cable boxes with an alternate code-set (if it supports it).

That won't work, the urc-200 emits both IR & RF all the time.

but the best thing would be to

I have never heard of a cable box with multiple addresses.

thanks guys.i pretty much expected your solutions but i was hoping for the discovery of fire to go along w/the stone knives and bear skins! oh well,thanks.
