Does anyone have the codes for DirecTV's new HD DVR? I would like to program my mx-800 and mx-3000.

It uses the same code as the H10 & H20, sat code 173.

Im very new to using the mx850 software,so bare with me.Are you saying go to dvr,then directv, and enter 173 in the upper blank box?

Well I have never used any URC software, but code 173 is a SAT code originally for the standard sat receiver D10. So look under Directv for the following models: D10, R15, H10,or H20.

Thanks for the help - I was digging in the DVR menu instead of the SAT menu for these codes!
I heard on DBS Forums that there is a special code to skip back and forth by a tick mark. (You hold down Fast Forward or Rewind for 3 seconds and the remote sends another code). IT sounds hard to learn, I will have to see if that code is in the preset for the H20.

I have the new HD DVR as well and can use the Sat 173 codes to handle the basic receiver functions like guides, channel selection, etc. but don't believe these SAT codes support the DVR functions? Tried to use the DirectTV DVR HR10 but no go, I'm assuming these are the TIVO versions and don't work on the new receiver? Is there an update for the IR database for the HR20 that anyone is aware of? Thanks.
