I have the MX-850 and the RF extender/converter but I can not find the codes for the PVR #2. If I had to train from my remote how do you do this since the actual remote only accepts training fron IR, does the rF extender/converter also accept training commands?

And you won't, no other remote will control the second tuner but the oem remote. RF universal remotes are IR only controlling remotes. they no only one RF frequency, their own.
