Am a new URC "owner". I bought before the 1 Aug "plug pulling" and I was able to download the MX Editor software before that date. I tried to register my unit (bought through an ebay retailer), but can't seem to locate the serial number. The registration form says, "located under the battery." Well there's no serial type (looking) number under any of the 4-AAA batteries. Have I got a grey market unit (for $250)? Any help would be appreciated.

Also looking for codes for the Outlaw 990 pre-processor. Anyone have some they'd like to share? Thanks.

It is correct that the serial number label should be in the battery compartment under the batteries. There have been other postings here that some eBay sellers are removing the serial numbers, you may have purchased from one of those sellers.

As far as codes for the 990 pre-processor, there is an MX-700 file for the 950 that may give you most or all of what you want in the Files section here.

Also, there is a Pronto CCF here that you may be able use with the Universal Browser in your Editor software to import codes if they have been learned.
