There are least for groups of codesets used by insignia tv's, they fall into Admiral/emerson, mitsubishi, philips, and unknown groups.
This is the URC Inc forum, and whose remotes are the only one that lists a insignia tv code in their R5 & R7 remote manuals. This code doesn't match admiral/emerson, mitsubishi, and philips codes in any other brand of universal remotes. So URC insignia code must belong to the unknown group.
Its unknown because even after codesearches in UEI & tivo peanut remotes, owners didn't get any hits. UEI has the biggest library of codes of any universal remote brand.
