If the commands function on the MX-3000 when you
press them manually, they should certaonly work
in a macro. Set the delay time between each command
to 1 sec.
Create the following macro on a BLANK button with
no commands on it. You only want the macro on
this button.
1) stop
2) 1 sec delay
3) stop
4) 1 sec delay
5) play
That should work.
Thank you,

Well, after hours and hours of unsuccessfully fiddling with delays between the commands, I FINALLY got it to work - thanks in large part to your suggestion that I create a separate button.
Not sure what you meant by making the button blank, or that the button have no commands on it, but creating a separate button with only the stop/stop/play aliases as the macro on the button (rather than having it as part of a larger macro) worked. Not sure why separating it out as its own macro did the trick, but it did - and many hours of frustration are finally rewarded.
Thanks again.
