Anybody noticed a new version has been posted? What does "Update -Now enabled CCS" mean?

I'm going to guess it has something to do with the Complete Control Suite that will be coming.

I downloaded that yesterday and looked for new features, such as the much talked about jump-to-previous-page, and could not see anything different. The IR DB went from 1.74 to 1.75, something (maybe the software itself) went from 1.10.065 to 1.10.080, and the firmware went from 1.35 to 1.37, but I sure can't see any difference.
Let's see if it still locks up half the time when I download changes to my layout.

Disappointing about the lack of the Jump-To...I'm waiting for that before I can pull the trigger on some MX-900s. Anyone from URC care to comment?

There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions. |

Went to training Tuesday and Jeff said I went to the training Thursday. This was my first Jeff encounter. I learned and laughed at the same time.

The only things I noticed about the new software is (1) the LCD now goes out much sooner when put in the cradle, and (2) you can now select 10% battery power for the low power notice to come on (but I just may not have noticed this before).

The 10% battery power level setting is not new. Since I have a spare second battery, I have had my 950 set at 10% for several months.
As for the LCD going out sooner, I usually put mine into the cradle and then leave the room, so I can't offer any evidence on that point. For those that have the stand in a bedroom, however, that might be a nice improvement.

I just purchased another battery too, thinking the one that came with the remote is defective or going bad. But it was not an improvement.
While I very much like the MX-950, I do have to complain about the battery life. Granted, I am a heavy user, but after the first dozen clicks (literally) the battery indicator starts showing ware. And I have to recharge 2-3 times per day. I also noticed that after a full charge the power menu shows 90% (which may be why the indicator goes down so fast).
