Hi all. I'm having trouble getting an MX-950 to control a Denon AVR-4806 w/ RF. I tried MRF-250 and 300, all ports, blaster, different placement of emitters, different id's, etc. It works like a charm via IR of course, and the RF works with other components. I did see the thread on the AVR-2106 and MX-850 with regards to volume, but this is all functions. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

BTW - It's not my first day - more like my 6th year. This is just my 1st post.

Double check everything, and make sure that you use the database codes. I have used the 4806 RF with an MX950 and 3000 along with MRF300's and 250's and they work.
Check for a bad flasher.
Start a new 950 file with just the 4806 programmed in and see how that works.
If you cant figure it out, call the phone jockeys at URC.

also, if you're using the MRF-300, you can use a mono Mini-pin and go straight into that component on the back (Room to Room IR In). That's how I run all my Denon stuff. Make sure that your ID isn't set to 0. could cause problems.

Thanks for the input, but I tried all those things and I called URC. The only thing the guy could come up with was RF interference and then never called me back. So I cut my losses and didn't waste any more of my customer's (or my) time and ran an IR repeater system. Works like a charm and my customer is happy.
