Hi,

Trying to get the mx 3000 hard buttons for volume to press and hold so that the volume goes up and down while continuing to press. Have changed the repeat functions on the ir code, but still it only sends out one ir code for each press...

Any ideas on how this can be achived..

Thanks

Noel

Are you using learned codes? If so, try using preprogrammed codes if they are available. If not available, try re-learning by using short taps of the original remote vol button instead of just holding button down. If still no luck, try calling URC for support.

Just out of curiosity why would you want the volume to go up and down?

I have tried learning the remote with a quick signal tap, but I still cannot make the volume buttons respond to a continuous press. I have also tried the repeat function, to no avail. Has anyone programmed those buttons to respond to continuous pressing? How did you do it?

Thank you.

I used the learn command and while doing so, I held down the volume up button until the command said "Learned". This was the only way I was ever able to do it.

Thank you for that suggestion, it seems to work. I am posting this result in case others are having the same problem.
