I'm relatively new to mx3000 programming, and very new to variable programming. I've been able to write macros etc. to control my theater, but I'm stuck on one particular aspect.
I'd like to be able to set a variable that remembers the last page I was on, so I can hit a return button, and go back to the page I came from after a jump. Does anyone know how to do that?
If I'm on the DVD play page and want to adjust the sound mode, for instance, I'd like to be able to jump to a page in my preamp device, make the adjustment, and just hit return to go back to the same DVD page, without going through the remote page.
In general, there isn't much on variable programming in URC's programming gude, yet I notice that many in this forum have learned much more than is covered. Is there a variable guide out there somewhere that I could get?
Thanks........teeman

There's an example on using a variable in the User Manual.

We'll be creating some more intensive training for advanced programmers - including info on how to create and use variables - over the next couple of months. We're also working on training materials for the full line and these will become available at the end of January (first course on MX850 and introduction to programming) and continue to trickle in for a couple of months.
Stay in touch with your rep or distributor so you'll know when this material becomes available.

Like all of our training, it will be geared only to dealers - the live version could (in theory) be attended by anyone who can figure out how to get into a trade show, but we're all about ensuring that our dealers have the most effective and comprehensive training available.

Jeff Jeff, I understand. I don't like it, but I understand. Larry
