Hi Guys
I come again in need :) I'm getting a new Sony 400 disk changer and need codes. I found the 985 codes here but not sure if they will work with the newer model.
I found Pronto codes here but don't know if there is a way to convert?
thx!

The Sony DVP-CX995V is listed in the device codes of the MX editor. Have you tried those? If that device is not listed you will need to do a "Live Update" to get the latest codes from URC. If for some reason that doesn't work for you below are the steps I found posted by michael512 some time back. I saved them in the event they may come in handy some day.
If you download ProntoEdit from Remote Central and install it on your computer, you can create a CCF that can be imported into MXEditor. Here's how:
1. Open ProntoEdit and choose "Create New Configuration" for a TSU2000.
2. Under the "Panel" pulldown, choose "Add Panel".
3. Some blank buttons will appear. Double click on one of them to get the "Button Properties" screen.
4. Click on "Set IR" which will bring up the "Add IR" panel.
5. Click on "View IR", which will display an open box labeled "IR Code".
6. Paste your hex code into that box and click "OK".
7. Click on "Properties" and "Name" to enter a label for the button. Click "OK", then "Apply".
8. Repeat this with any other buttons, then save the CCF.
Then go to the MXEditor and find the Universal Browser button in the top menu. I think its the last one on the right. Open the browser and navigate to the .ccf file you created. Open the .ccf and the buttons you created in ProtoEdit will appear. You can the drag-and-drop the buttons from the Universal Browser to the target button on the MXEditor.

I'm so stupid :) Forgot all about the update! I guess I don't change equipment that often!
Thanks, Wharf!
