Hey guys,

One last question before I make the plunge. I am a MAC user and have the lastest version Virtual PC on my MAC so I can run DVD Profiler and a few Fantasy Football apps :-)

Does anyone here have experience using the MX-700 (or like model) with a MAC using 1) Virtual PC and 2) a serial to USB adaptor?

Thanks ahead of time...

The MX Editor should absolutely work on Virtual PC. As far as a serial to USB adapter, Belkin and Keyspan are the only ones that have been tested and work very well. There are a few brands that do not work, I know Radio Shack is one of them, so it is best to get either of the tested brands.

Thank you,
Damon DG

I can confirm as well - I used to use Virtual PC to program my 700. I had two adapters, a Belkin and a noname brand, and they both worked. A bit tricky to get the drivers right, but fine once that was accomplished.
