Hi,
I just got an iPod and it's dock (yes I know I must be the last person to have done so) and have downloaded most of my music to it. My plan is to use it as a jukebox with my HT. My question has anyone used their MX700 to control their iPod when it is connected as a jukebox and what exactly on the iPod can you control?
Thx. in advance!

Basic stuff. Play, Next, Previous, Pause...Also depends on the dock. Some will let you jump playlists, such as the Ten Technology piece.

There are new A/V receivers out now that will let you see the actual iPod interface on the screen, just as it would appear on the iPod itself. This is a relatively new feature, which was previously unavailable. I know Denon is one of those manufacturers, but there are a couple of others as well. Thanks guys, the dock I have is the Apple dock and does not come with a remote. The only way I know how to program my MX700 with a new device is by teaching from another remote. I downloaded a file I found on RemoteCentral called Ipod.mxd. Can the MX700 import that type of file and if so how do I do that? I believe this Ipod.mxd file has codes the MX700 will read.
Last I'm using a B&K Reference 50 as my pre-amp, the dock has a s-video port on it, I can always hook it up and see if I get any signal. That would be kind of cool, useless but cool.
Thanks again.
