Hi,
MX3000 I have a back button on a lighting page. When I select device- from the default jumps list should it jump back to the previously used device? Now it seems to jump to the next device up in the device list. I am running the latest version of the editor, was it always this way? If this is normal what would be the use for such a jump?

Yes, it has always been that way, Device- and Device+ do just that. Jump forward or backward one device at a time.
An example of where this would be used can be seen in the Default 12 Device sample file that comes with MX-Editor. The two buttons on the top of the screen beside the Device Header will scroll through the devices much the same way the Hard Page Buttons scroll through pages.

With the MX3000 I use variables to create "back" buttons...
1. Create a hidden page. Put a button on this page PER DEVICE 2. Set each button to variable mode and make variable state 1 do a page flip to that device (variable state 0 should do nothing) 3. On your main page, on each device button, set the appropriate variable to 1 for the device you have selected AND all other variables to 0 4. Have your "back" button call up an alias to each of the buttons on your hidden page (thus pushing "back" would essentially try to perform several page flips, but since only one variable can be 1 at a time, only the page flip to the current device will happen)
This works like a CHAMP!!

Maybe I'm missing something here, but the MX-3000 has a built in jump for this "back" button. It's called "navigate -".
I use this and it works perfectly.

robZ, thanks, I will give this a shot.
dinom, the problem for me with navigate- is this. I am on my sat page, I jump to my lighting device which has 3 pages. If I use navigate back from say page 3, it would go to page 2 rather than back to sat
