RF the power on command won't work. It will do everything rf, except turn on. The on command works ir so its not the code, I think. I have tried several differnt yamaha on codes, preprogrammed and learned all with the same result. IR works rf does not.
PLease Help

The codes in the database definetly work. Are you using an emmitter or using an 1/8" mini in the rear ir port? I'd suggests the 1/8" mini patch cord and don't use port 6. If it is the file, check the 2500 file. They have the same codeset.

I am using ir emitter.
I forgot to mention this, when i press the on button its like the emitter didnt recognize the command, no light up on the emitter itself. But the 850 acts like it is sending a command, it flashes.

I remember having some problems with some codes with my 2400 and mx-3000. I had to add some pauses and also in a couple of cases I believe I learned a couple of codes from my mx-850.
