No, the mx-600 can only control IR only components.

Is there any way to make it work then or am i out of luck and bose works off of RF correct . Will any mx work with it or any brand. thanks

Nope, ALL mx RF remotes are IR only controlling remotes. There is no such universal remote made that wil replace your RF only oem remote, sorry.

You may be in luck, what series LS-8 is it? If it is a seires that has a data/serial port on it you can add on a C-1024 and this will allow you to control it via IR.

The C1024 only works with LS systems 20, 25, 30, 40, and 50. And you would need a PC programmable remote for the codes, so mx-600 wouldn't have been enough.

well if i have to buy a new remote i will just want to use one remote so ill have to look and see if it has the data serial port on it.
