Hello everyone. First off I'd like to say thank you all for your help. I have used this site ever since my 1st Pronto that I bought in 1999 and I never had to ask for anything until now. I finally upgraded my original pronto with the MX-3000. Love this REMOTE. I have found one issue that I was concerned with. It seems that my remote plays animated .gif files or even image sequences slow. It this normal? To give you an example, I have downloaded sevral of the other remote configs from this site. It seems like everything play perfect for the emulator on my PC, but when I download these to my remote, the sound does not stay in sync with the images. Even animated .gifs seem to run very slow. I have been able to be creative with my programming to compensate, but I am concerned that this may just be an issue with this remote. I just purchased it, so I could still exchange it if needed. Some of the files I have tested included the Contest Grand prize winner. For example the .gif files for the bubbles seem to freeze or even skip. Please let me know if I should be concerned. Thank you in advance and look forward with sharing my cofigs with you.

i have ran into the same issue with large gif images. I have the old clock countdown that guys that used to make commercials with (black and white) and in real life using my computer, it runs very close to perfect with the clock having proper time but on my remote it takes 4 seconds of real time to run 1 second off of this clock. I guess the graphics processor in the remote is not that great yet.

Thanks Nineballman. Sounds the same as me. But it does lead me to another question. When the majority of the files listed in the files section are created, are they "tweaked" to run well on the remote or on the emulator? Like I said before, I have had to be very creative to make my sequences run well. Most of the time, I have to do some guess work to get what I think I want, then download to the Remote and test. If it works, great, if not, then I make some adjustments. It just does not seem like it should be this way. Then again, for the price of the remote, it is nice that you can even use animated files. Any other thougths/sugestions?
