Hi,
just recieved my new reciever. Does anyone already have Yamaha RX-V2600 programmed? (The editor database for RX-V2500 doesn't appear to work and neither does the Steve Garns in the files section)

The RXV2500 codes should work. Below is a link to the other codes available like XM. Those your going to have to learn.

As I'm in Europe - we don't have XM. Also I'm not using Zone2 & 3 at all, so it shouldn't be impossible.

As stated tried to use the RX-V2500 files, but when testing signals I get no respense or wrong response.

Hmm. I checked Yamahas site and all the codes for the 2600 are identicle to the 2500 with the added XM codes.

Did you actually download the codes into the remote? I struggled with a 700 this afternoon and none of the Yamaha codes worked by testing within the editor. I downloaded to the remote and all was fine.

Are you listening Eric - some friggin update! Geeeez.

Yes - after your first reply I downloaded the Audio - Yamaha - RX-V2500 (RAV352) [Code 561] and I get no repsonse from the unit.

(And yes the codes should be mostly the same with RX-V2500)

Do none of the codes work? Could you be on ID2?

ID1 power commands are identical for both units

Unfourtanately changing the ID values didn't helpo at all.
On both versions no reply from my reciever to the commands.

But reloaded the Steve Garns file to the MX-700 and it appears to work (At least in part).

Have to edit that one to my liking
