I've had some success controlling my Grafic Eye 3106(supports 16 scenes) using the 158 setup code from the manual, but only for 8 scenes and other questions arise. The lighting option off the main menu has 5 pages available. The first 2, as the unit is delivered, list the numbers 1-8 and 9-16, the rest are blank.
1. The URC-300 only sends a signal for Lighting Control when I press a button on the number pad, never when pressing the touch screen. Is there a way to get the touch screen to send the IR signal? I was able to program a multi-step macro on one of the touch screen buttons for lighting, and I suppose I could set each touch screen button to as a macro to run the number pad button, but why?? Can someone enlighten me as to the rational for sending signals from touch screen buttons vs number pad buttons?
2. What is the +10 button for? How does one use it? It sends an IR signal when pressed from my receiver device pages, but not when I am on a LIGHT page. I programmed touch screen button 16 on page two of LIGHT with my macro, but pressing +10 and 6 still sends no signal. Any help would be appreciated.

What you need my friend is an MX-850. What you want to do would be much easier done with a PC programmed remote. Good luck!
