I have downloaded the .pcf file for the Yamaha rx-v2600 and am trying to load it to the remote. Does anyone know how to do this. It is not updated in the IR database yet.

you need to use a CCF file and once you have the correct file open it with the browser in the editor software and drag it over to the button that will control that specific command. It will show up as a learned command.

Have you tried the 2500 or 4600 commands in the IR database? It's likely they're the same.

if you do not find what you need, Mike was right, most of the time one of the codes in the database will work, it is just trial and error.
