I finally purchased and received my MX3000 (actually an early Christmas present from my wife), and have loaded the Guifx Inspire Template on it. The template is great but I am experiencing slowness when navigating between pages, especially to/from the "Main" page.
Here is what I have done and tried... I downloaded my somewhat configured Inspire template to the remote and starting testing the buttons on the remote itself. When I select a button from the Main screen, it will take betwen 3-4 seconds to jump to a device page. Then, if I click the Main hard button, it will again take about 3 seconds to go back to the Main screen. This happens on a configured and non-configured device screens. Pushing the buttons while on the different screens seem to be fine. Also, after returning to the Main screen, I notice that the screen buttons are unresponsive to touch for about a second or two.
I have tried downloading a base non-configured Inspire template, but have the same results. I have tried downloading a blank .rcc file, then downloading the templates again, same thing. I have tried the sample .rcc files that came with the remote, and they seem to work just fine. So could it be the Inspire template, I don't think that's it. It did work correctly when I first put it on my remote, but since then...
The only other thing I've seen is that when I save the Inspire template, the .rcc file size goes from the 4MB+ to around 700-800KB. This may be the problem, but why is this happening?
Sorry for the long post, but I wanted to make sure all the information was there.
Thanks, Scot

do you have the most recent mx-3000 editor? this may have been fixed, but last time I checked, the current editor creates a problem with slow pageflips when certain graphics types are used.
it should be fixed soon, with an mx-editor update.

The latest version of the editor fixes the slowness with Inspire, or more specifically, any template that uses *.png graphics.
I run Inspire, and the speed issue is fine.
Just do a "live update" again.

Thank you, both! The latest version of the MX Editor fixed the problem. Although what's strange is that I had run Live Update yesterday and today, and the version still read 1.20.147. I had to manually download the .148 and install it. Oh well, at least everything is working again.
Thanks again, Scot
