I'd like to use the MX-500 to control mood lighting when the DVD player is played, paused, stop, etc. Can this be done and where can I find the code/s?
In other words, If I press "play" on the DVD player, the lights dim. "stop", on again.

Thanks

First, you want to learn the commands from the original remote to a "light" device on your MX-500. Then, you need to create macros, in order to issue the commands properly.

Thank you,

Do you already have your Mx-500 controling your DVD player? If not you need to do this first. Do you already know how to setup devices using the MX-500? If so, then you can search for posts by me or Control Remotes for instructions on setting up the lutron dimmer. As Damon mentioned in his post you will need to create 2 macros to control both the DVD and lighting.
