On my MX-350 I would like to delete a main device and leave that button blank to where nothing happens when the button is pressed. I did not find how to do this in the manual, so I did the following. I re-programed the button with a pre-program lutron code so that there was only pon and poff commands. I then deleted the text on the main button I no longer need. When someone presses that button it will go to page one of the lutron dimmer but none of the lutron LCD buttons are active. The problem is that if someone presses the the power on or power off hard buttons this will change the light setting. How do I remove the pre-program codes from these buttons or better yet how do I delete an entire device on the main page
Thanks, Big DM

First, I assume you mean the MX-850, not the MX-350. Second, you can move preprogrammed commands around LCD screens with the LCD Button Editor. Just move them to page two, three or four and leave blank pages before them. If someone STILL gets to the lighting controls, then they're really desparate to mess up your lighting system and probably deserve it! :-)

I actually am talking about the MX-350 Osiris remote. On my Mx-850 remote I can delete learned, ir code, macro, shortcut, and the button. How do I go about this with the MX350. You are right in that someone would have to really be tampering with the remote to find these buttons but I wanted the remote to be as clean as possible. BIG DM

What would happen if you delete the the text and do not have any product programmed into the device, wouldn't this do what you want?
I am fairly new to programming and spend time reading the posts to learn. I think I understand your question, but maybe I do not.

BIG DM I don't think the MX-350 is that versatile, it's more like the MX-500. I'm curious though... are you USING the Lutron preprogrammed codeset?

Big DM, try this.
Delete the text of the device by using the EDIT function. Then HIDE all pages associated with that device. That way, even if someone presses the "blank" device button, nothing will happen.
I've done this on my MX-350 and it works great.

Dino Daniel, Yes I used the Lutron pre-program IR code. Dino, Are you telling me that if I hid eall pages then the hard power buttons will not work and the display window will not say page 1 of 5 or page 2 of 5. Big DM

Correct. On my MX-350, if I press my blank devices (where I've hidden all pages), the remote stays in MAIN.
