Just curious if anyone is using the new R5 or R7 URC remotes? I am having a little issue with getting the R7 to work on my Phillips TiVo box. dgwing

I have the R5, it had no problem controling ALL my tivos with preset code SAT 201. If you have more then one tivo you will need to teach.

Edmond, Thanx for replying... Do you also have a SAT receiver in your setup as well? Is your TiVo controlled when you use the SAT button on the R5? I need my SAT button to be Dish Network and I want the TiVo to be the AUX. Do you know if there is an inherent issue with this?

The R5 doesn't have AUX device, just TV, CAB/SAT, DVD, VCR, and AUDIO. And it doesn't look like you can remode one device as another, except via learning.
The tivo code in older URC remotes was AUX code 090, give it a try?
If it come down to learning the commands, I suggest you change remote address of the tivo from "0", to one from 1-9. Then teach the commands, that way if you ever get another tivo, you won't have to teach both, since address "0", will control all peanut remote controlled tivos no matter what address they're set to.
