I have been trying to find codes or a work around for one of my best customers regarding the subject above. Everything is working flawlessly through learned codes, however the volume will only go up and down in incriments. I need to be able to make the volume ramp up and down. This is very frustrating for my client and, as you can imagine, for me. Gotta love the snowball effect. If anyone can offer any insight I would greatly appreciate it!

Are you learning with the press and hold till learnt method? (not a tap and release) edit do you mean it's only going up 1dB per click, when you hold it doesn't continue? Or you want a set preset volume commands ie -30dB, -20dB etc or do you want to do 3, 5 10dB steps?

I have tried both tap and release as well as holding to learn this function in. All I am wanting to do is that when my client holds the volume button up or down that the volume continuesly goes up/down until he releases the button. I would prefer it to go up/down one db at a time, however right now any kinda ramping will do. I'm still trying anything and everything and still no results. If you know of a solution please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Have you checked the pre-programmed IR codes? Under Audio - Sherwood - R-865, code 447. At least there on MX-700 DB.
